Entrepreneur, author, and internet technology investor David Oliver Sacks (b. May 25, 1972) is a South African-American, currently serving as a general partner of Craft Ventures- a venture capital fund he co-founded in late 2017. Besides being a co-host on the All In podcast, he has an impressive background in tech leadership. Sacks was the COO and product pioneer of PayPal, creating and leading Yammer as its founder and CEO. He even took on the role of interim CEO for Zenefits in 2016. Beyond investments in popular tech companies like Facebook, Uber, SpaceX, Palantir Technologies, and Airbnb, Sacks also co-founded Craft Ventures, an early-stage venture fund in 2017. As a testament to his success, in December 2024, President Donald Trump appointed him the White House AI and crypto czar for his incoming administration.
